Get to Know Us
Meet Aidan
I’m Aidan March, an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and the owner of March Exercise Physiology.
I have more than 10 years of experience working across exercise physiology, disability and community health, with particular experience supporting people with complex health conditions, neurological conditions and disability.
Over that time, I’ve come to appreciate that a good exercise program is about more than choosing the right exercises. The environment, the relationship between practitioner and client, and whether someone has a positive experience with exercise can be just as important.
I’m easy-going in the way I work and aim to make appointments relaxed and welcoming, while maintaining a strong clinical focus and working towards meaningful goals.
Outside of exercise physiology, I’m a husband and dad of three. I’m a cricket enthusiast and enjoy following a number of sports, including Formula 1, hockey, footy, soccer and basketball. I also love collecting stuff and have a metal detector.
Our Approach
Our approach to exercise is straightforward: it doesn’t always have to be hard to be worthwhile.
Exercise should be appropriately challenging, but it should also be achievable, enjoyable and sustainable. We place a strong emphasis on creating positive exercise experiences and helping people develop confidence in their own abilities.
For us, success isn’t just what someone can achieve during an appointment — it’s whether exercise can contribute positively to their independence, function and overall quality of life.
Appointments are structured to provide individualised, one-on-one support in a quieter and more comfortable environment. This allows sessions to be adapted to each person, whether they require additional physical support, prefer a lower-sensory environment, lack confidence exercising independently, or simply feel more comfortable away from a busy gym.
Our Space
The clinic has the equipment and feel of a gym, but without the crowds of a commercial gym.
Our Camden Park facility has almost 200 sqm of dedicated exercise space, giving us plenty of room for one-on-one appointments and small group sessions. Equipment has been deliberately spaced throughout the gym to make it easier to move around, including for people who use mobility aids or require additional space and support.
The gym includes a broad range of strength, cardio and functional training equipment, with different options that allow exercises to be adapted for a wide range of abilities. Equipment includes pin-loaded strength machines, free weights and racks, a functional trainer, cardio equipment, a Pilates reformer, sled and balance equipment.
Exercise should be fun too. Our indoor basketball court gives us space for ball skills, games, movement and sport-specific activities, adding variety to sessions and another way to enjoy being active.
The size, layout and range of equipment allow us to adapt the environment and the exercise — rather than expecting every person to fit into the same type of program.
